Ghulam Mustafa Cyber Fraud Case: Mustafa Is Said To Have Sold Railway E-tickets Using A Fake ID

More details have emerged in the Ghulam Mustafa case where Mustafa is accused of being involved in a cyber-fraud case. Mustafa is said to have sold railway e-tickets using a fake ID. The railway police had arrested him on January 8th. During the interrogation, it was also revealed that he has been involved in terrorist activities as well. He reportedly has connections with terrorists in Pakistan and Bangladesh. An FIR has now been filed against the accused, and cops have continued the investigation. In view of national security, the Railway Protection Force, Intelligence wing officials and police from Vishakapatnam arrived to question Mustafa.

After the arrest of Hanumanth Raj in Odisha who was also one of the accused Musthafa had fled Odisha and continued the same fraud using AMNS softwareby developing it. Using this software he created fake ID cards in IRTC and used to book rail tickets and create fake documents. He has also hacked into the database of railways department and collected information. He has also sold several tickets too in Rajgopalnagar’s Mosque. There were also several videos posted online pertaining to this and helped the cops track him .

One of the cops posing as the customers made a video call to the accused and this helped him nab the accused when the RPF personnel tracked him through this app that he was using to make video calls. Also it has come to light that there is yet another mastermind who is running this entire racket and he has been identified as Hameed Ashraf but the cops are yet to track him and there is also the involvement of Salman Sarfaraz who is the developer of ANMS application.

It has also come to light that Musthafa was operating a huge gang too and there were 15-20 people who used to run the operations. There were over 200 panel ticket sellers too and they had been operating since 2015. The RPF personnel also suspect that Musthafa was using crypto currency on darkweb and he was mainly dealing with Bitcoins.
