80 people indicted in massive internet fraud case

Federal investigators are searching for suspects in an internet fraud case that nearly anyone who’s received a suspicious e-mail from Nigeria will recognize. At least 11 were arrested Thursday in Southern California. The 80 suspects are charged with money laundering, fraud and identity theft. Prosecutors say millions of dollars were stolen from unsuspecting people online. Jamie Yuccas reports.

  3. I know so many Nigerians making good money. I ask them what do they do for a living. They seem to get nervous and give a vague answer.

  4. Ive ran into a few on pof and badoo using white soldiers pictures but they are nigerian. They live in dallas north dallas to be exact they scam people with cars marriages etc…..

  5. Why was this not done YEARS ago??? I received messages like this 15 years ago! My email has been hacked so many times by these people as well.

  7. simple rule… to avoid being scammed.mm stop being stupid…. it's said to see the level of naivety of an average citizen….. if not sure… ask a good friend before transferring anyone any money 😊

  8. lol. This is so funny. But you cannot find Eastern Europeans, Russians and Americans who are who stealing and selling personal information for Millions. They have been doing this for years.Breaching security of almost every Corporation you can think of.
